For the First Time in the history of PAKISTAN and in the history of the HEC 50000 Need base, Ehsaas Scholarship Program was Announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan Chairman of PTI for Poor students from middle-class families that cannot afford Education expenditures and are not able to pay their fees for a hostel. In four years, an estimated more than 200,000 students should get benefits From Ehsaas Scholarship Program.
Higher Education in Pakistan is considered the only way to overcome Poverty after doing Intermediate. In our country, only o.4% of middle-class families’ children can get into higher education institutes, below the national average of 10%. The basic aim of the Ehsaas Scholarship Program is to end unequal rights.

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2024
HEC has provided 30,000 undergraduate scholarships during the past 14 years, but about 50,000 students from low-income families receive scholarships yearly throughout all four provinces (AJK, GILGIT BALTISTAN, Sindh Punjab). To be eligible for the Ehsaas Scholarship Program, a student’s household annual income must be less than Rs 45,000. Two hundred thousand Students will gain from the program over the course of four years.
This award covers full tuition costs and provides a 4,000-rupee ($50) stipend per month. Ehsaas Scholarship Program was expanded to include public universities in the four regions of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan at a cost of Rs. 24 billion euros. On March 2nd, the Prime Minister will award the first Phase of the 24 billion to brilliant and worthy Students All Over Pakistan.

Ehsaas Scholarship Program Registration 2024
The strategy is to create opportunities for youth to bring them under the net of higher education and create equal educational opportunities for all. Realizing its reality which has a population of around 220 million out of which more than half are the university, the priority of the Government of Pakistan is to work on such programs which give the drive to provide access to financially deserving and also encourage equal rights.
In the Ehsaas Scholarship Program, 50% of scholarships will be given to women. Fifty thousand scholarships will be given every year. Two lack scholarships will be registered in four years. The next phase of Ehsaas Scholarship Program will be started in December 2023, so those who want to get Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship should complete their preparation and apply for Ehsaas Scholarship as soon as they open the online application. Ineligibility Criteria for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program 2024
- Students who were accepted to self-finance or self-support programs are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Students who are already receiving a scholarship or grant from another source are not eligible to apply. This program is only for regular students. Students who learn from afar are not eligible.
- Students who take evening classes with high fees are not eligible.
- Students whose families make more than 50,000 per month are not eligible.
- Students have land and other ways to make money.
- Monthly electricity use by students Families is more than 300 units
- Children of government workers don’t qualify.
How to Apply for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship
- Eligible candidates can apply online at https://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/
- Put Everything Correct otherwise, your application is rejected.
- The complete application form can be submitted to the respective university’s financial aid office and contact with the financial aid office officer.
- Do not submit the application form directly to HEC
Supporting documents:
After online application submission, the applicant is required to take a hard copy of the application form and attach the following supporting documents:
- Copy of applicant CNIC / B. Form
- Copy of CNIC (Father, Mother/ Guardian)
- Salary Slip / Income Certificate (Father/Guardian, Mother)
- If the applicant’s guardian is a Laborer on a daily wage/shopkeeper / private job or with a family income of less than 45,000, then Income Certificate must attach on cheap stamp paper of Rs. 50/-
- Copies of last Six Months’ Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water) – (If applicable)
- Copy of Rent agreement in case of Rented House
- Copies of Last Fee Receipts of Applicant and Siblings (If applicable)
- Copies of Medical bills/expenditure-related documents (if applicable)
- 1 Passport size Photograph of Applicant
- 1 Picture of House from Outside Front

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Phase-IV 2024
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif again started the Ehsaas Undergraduates Scholarship Program to provide higher education to deserving and poor students as soon as he became the Prime Minister. From now on, all students who want to pursue higher education will provided a scholarship of up to four lakh rupees by the Ehsaas programme. Through which they will be able to continue their education, the government of Pakistan has restored the Ehsaas scholarship registration portal again.
Those who want to register themselves for the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship can register through this portal as soon as possible. The last date of the Ehsaas Inder Graduate Scholarship has not been announced, we will inform you as soon as we get information about it.
